Charlotte Holloman (b. 1922), by Van Vechten, 1957.

Prof. Holloman (who will be 90 on March 24), was recently honored at the University of the District of Columbia with "A Tribute to Charlotte Holloman." This brilliant opera singer and music professor taught at Howard University and at the University of the District of Columbia--she is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority and has received numerous accolades!
