Her artist’s lens showed/
That she had “seen their faces”/
It made us see, too.

Rebecca, glad you posted this--Bourke-White was one of America's foremost photographers, and as a woman and a lesbian she overcame a multitude of difficulties.

PS, my parents knew her and her partner.
